Over 1800 individuals served

Serving clients in need despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout this year, our team of 10 (six attorneys, a legal advocate, an operations manager and two interns) have been providing legal services in a hybrid model, incorporating both in-person and virtual services. Because many of our clients lack reliable internet and technology, all of our staff work out of the office at least part of the time. After a hiatus in year one of Covid-19, we also re-launched our in-person legal clinic in San Francisco's Excelsior District and in-person citizenship workshops as part of the San Francisco Pathways to Citizenship Initiative.

In the last two years, we have served over 1800 individuals. Most of our clients have incomes at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines ($66,250 for a family of 4). Over one-third of our clients are Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and over half are Latinx.
