Luis was born in Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico and emigrated to the United States when he was three years old. As a DACA recipient Luis understands how difficult finding immigration legal services can be, and hopes to serve his community by being a navigational resource. Luis was a 2020-2021 fellow at Jubilee through DreamSF, a leadership and professional development program for immigrant students and recent graduates. Luis hopes to pursue a career in public defense.
